I’ve been away at the yoga teacher training, an experience I’m going to write about gradually because it had so many levels and emotions that I’m still processing it. I know the things I learnt are going to come out over the months and years but I’m not forcing it. One of many things I felt myself missing was the ability to make my own food as it was all prepared for us, a very foreign concept to me. So this was a beautiful breakfast I had and enjoyed possibly too much so I thought I’d share. Below is the recipe for one big bowl!
1 Handful frozen raspberries
1 Chopped up banana
1 Cup fresh Apple juice
1 Soaked medjool date
1 Tsp chia seed
1 Tbsp flaxseed
Desiccated coconut, fresh raspberries and homemade granola for sprinkling
Chop up your banana and put it in your blender, throw in your raspberries, chop and add your date, chia seeds and flax seed, then add your apple juice so that the ingredients are covered, blend. I pour mine into a bowl and add coconut, fresh raspberries and homemade granola (a recipe for which will be on here soon!)
